2015 November Banquet

November 14, 2015 at the Holiday Inn, Iowa City

The annual banquet provided a wonderful opportunity for conversation and socialization. Attendees viewed the entries for the Betty Miller Photo Contest and a number of door prizes prior to our meal. Special recognitions included honoring those members from the 1990 initial year of CVIDS. The banquet provided a fitting end to a year-long 25th Anniversary celebration. After a delicious buffet, Karol Emmerich of Springwood Gardens shared her thoughts and pictures on hybridizing daylilies. Her dedication to creating art through flowers was evident in her presentation and enthusiasm.
