WALNUT HILL GARDENS

2009 & 2010 Introductions

Remembering Ruth (2010)

Dip 26-28” 5” x 2½” x 1⅝”  Dormant.  Late Midseason;   Ruffled cream pink deepening toward ¼” rose pink edge; light yellow watermark above small deep green throat.  15 buds.  Slightly fragrant.  Very consistent.  Fewer buds than I would like, but it increases rapidly into a nice floriferous clump, and the late season bloom is a welcome bonus.  Named in honor of my mother, Ruth Lockard. Fertile both ways. (Big Snowbird x Beautiful Edgings) SF $75.00

Ethel Linder Stoll

Ethel Linder Stoll (2009)

Tet 28” 5½-6” Semi-evergreen.  Midseason; 25 buds.  Pale cream pink with knobby gold edge, deep green throat.  Fertile both ways.  Named for Barry’s mother, a fair-skinned pale blonde with a delicate appearance but great inner strength.  The flower resembles its pollen parent Mandalay Bay Music, but the Moldovan bloodlines give it great vigor.  Fertile both ways.  (Pretty Woman x Mandalay Bay Music) SF $100.00
