The January 2009 CVIDS meeting will take place at 1 PM on Saturday, January 10, in the meeting room at Mercy Hospital Medical Plaza Building in Iowa City. The program, which will feature a Round Table on Hybridizing with panel members Kay Hill, Gerald Hobbs, Barb Papenhausen, and Lynn Stoll, will be followed by the business meeting.

Directions from Interstate 80:

Take the Hiway 1 exit south about 2.5 miles to Market Street (one way west).  Turn right, and get immediately in left hand lane to turn left in the next block onto Johnson Street.  (The Medical Plaza Building will be unmarked on the north-east corner).  Parking lot entrance is in the middle of the block on the right hand side.  Enter into the parking lot by taking a ticket.  The foyer door is on the south side of the building facing Jefferson Street.  The flat lot is the easiest access, but parking is also available in the Mercy Hospital Plaza Ramp.

Park in the flat lot, and access the Medical Plaza Building lobby. The meeting room is in the basement of the Medical Plaza Building.  Enter the foyer, and take the elevator to the lower level.  Turn left away from the elevator.  Signs will be posted.  Parking is charged at 50 cents an hour.
